Central MN | I remember when I was 20 I used to do all the fall tillage for my cousin. Basically he would give me a couple tubes of grease, some shear bolts, and tell me to get it done. I could tell you exactly how much time I spent on each feild and roughly how much fuel I burned. I used to figure about 200 gallons would do 80-100 acres depending on the feild or about 2 to 2.5 an acre. Didn't ever pay attention to the rest of it because I was the tillage guy! | |
