East Central, Nebraska
I hate to criticize you about this car because I don’t have one but there has to be something really off in your numbers. The charge has to be way off. Are you using a gas powered generator, that is also running a small town? Also what do you mean by trip time being 14.5 hours? It doesn’t shut off after the tank runs out and not start till the next day. And the average miles per hour? If your going 270 miles and it takes you 4.5 hours then the trip time is 4.5 hours. It apparently isn’t a long trip car. I would say it is a go to work, sitting in traffic car. I know that I would not want to take a long trip in one just after I looked in the window. I agree the price is nuts, but we need to start somewhere. Get them out there and see how it goes. I fully support this idea, even though I produce corn and would love to sell all the ethanol I can.
