Local sod farms are using rubber tires and installing an arm that puts the sprinklers behind the tires near the towers. the pivot runs like a windshield wiper so there are drops installed with valves that allow it to run in both directions. There are virtually no tracks in the field since the wheels run on unwatered ground.
