sw minnesota | With the wheel rake you can set a five foot windrow so you dont have to weave, alot tighter bale that way. I think the one pass has a place, I don't think its for me yet. We still have alot of days in stalks where i send the rake guy a day ahead of me to give it a little more time to dry. And alfalfa its nice to rake with dew, it would work in grass hay but we still have alot of times where it needs to be fluffed up for a couple hours to get that last bit of drying done. but this is all relative to minnesota where we deal with a lot of rain in summer and rain and snow in the fall trying to get cornstalks put up.
