"Famous Potatoes" | My two older tractors are an 8950 and an 8400. While i do like the tilt hood on the newer deeres and magnum, with 4 bolts and a helping hand i can have the entire hood off and unrestricted access to the engine. In 8000 hrs. only had to do it once though. The hood on the magnum is up so much ive lost track of how many gas struts i've replaced on that thing.
Will also agree on the earlier mx statement. My last red tractor was an mx285, and if someone showed up here with that tractor again i'd shoot em on the spot. The MX is the reason my farm is all green now. I loved the 89 series magnums. I kept that tractor because after many years of owning red machines that was the last one that was worth a damn. | |
