Buffalo IL | I about had one about die on me last Tuesday from rolling on here back on a mound. I was lucky and found her when i went over to feed in the afternoon and she was laying there with all four feet in the air bloated to high heaven. Rolled her over and she rolled over on here back again. I had to get the tractor and rolled her over again and she got her feet under her and got up and belched the big burp. walked her around and she is doing fine. Lost one last fall that I put in the lot to ship as she was old and had a late calf trying to feed her hay and keep her until her calf was bigger instead of her grazing corn stalks and i messed up and dumped a straight Alfalfa bale in and I believe she must have licked every leaf in the bale up, bloated and was dead the next morning. | |
