| They only used used the chain trencher to put in the main, 12" 8' deep in places. Mainly using the hoe to get the mud on top away though they did have it and a D4 dozer on the one plow but finally gave up & hooked the other plow on. They were running a 6" submain 7 1/2' deep at that point & had about 4" of frost on top. On the laterals they were running both plows until one went down. They had just bought it & only put 7 hrs on it when the track pumps & motors went out . Needless to say they weren't too happy.
