The sonar comment above got me thinking (usually a dangerous thing). Why not buy a low end fishing depth finder and put the transducer at the top of the bin pointing at the grain? You would then have a contant readout of the level. A lot cheaper than buying the level indicators at $100 a piece. Maybe someone else with more knowledge on this can explain why it wouldnt work.
