Sounds like integrated is the way to go, but now you guys have me second guessing my RTK investment vs SF2. With my guidance research the past few years I've become fixated with putting my seed right on top of my fertilizer. I don't put on NH3 right now, still serving full time in the Army and fall is too busy....but want to take on more on the farm before I take on farming full time, and thought that the RTK investment would pay dividends if I used it to put on NH3 and then planted right into that. We no-till, and althought what I'm thinking isn't exactly strip till, I'm thinking about the precision of the seed placement. We have an 8 row planter, may be hard to find an 8 row tool bar to rent around here so may have to go 12, so RTK would help match that up, and even if we go to 12 row planter I can't ever see buying a 12 row corn head so maybe it would help line up harvest too? Anyone have any more advice on all this?
