SW Indiana | Just got home from the NFMS, one of the things I was interested in was visiting the Trimble booth to inquire about platform kits for 71,72 and 89 series Magnum for the ez-pilot. The dealer I spoke with knew nothing about when a platform kit might be available and said no one else at the booth did either. He also said I was the 6th or 7th person today to come in and ask about it. I guess I don't understand why this is so difficult and why none of the reps there knew anything about it. Does Trimble not let the reps know things like this? The dealer did suggest I could take parts from my steering column to a machine shop and get it to work. I also know from people on here that I can buy 2 different platform kits and alter an ez-steer bracket to make it work. I would rather not do either of those, but may look into it. Or maybe look for an autopilot setup, but not sure how much that costs as of now. | |
