Subject: Case 900 - Seed Monitoring-Integra

Dublin, MS
We have a case 900 chain drive plate planter. No vaccume, hydraulics, nothing fancy about it. We plant all cotton with this planter (12r/38"), we are using a plane jane dickey john monitor right now. I have a few elementary questions about seed monitering with an integra.

1. Would it be worth it to get the advanced monitoring with this planter? When we update (planters) what would have to change?

2. How hard is it to get the monitor to read the actual seed population? I thinking there are a lot settings and is there any information on it with cotton.

Nothing is wrong with our setup now, I would just like a little more info on seed pop. Our integra/pardyme is rtk if that makes any difference. I am looking for opinions on what you would do in our case (pun intended). I don't see this planter dieing anytime soon either. I appriciate all opinions/respones.
