Kansas | You can make your own cable out of an old serial cable with a 9 pin serial on one end and a 12 pin Deutsch on the other or order a cable from your Trimble dealer (p/n67091) to connect. Below is wiring diagram you have to use to make your own. You will have to test continuity of each of the 9 serial wires to determine their postion in connecter.
9-Pin Serial to 12 pin Deutsch cable (serial on left, deutsch on right)
1-don't use
2 to 2
3 to 3
4 to 9
5 to 5
6 don't use
7 to 8
8 to 6
9 to 4
Pins 1, 7, 10, 11 & 12 on Deutsch will be empty | |
