The problem is that the "they" who are driving this nonsense are not going to buy any meat.   

The customers that do buy the meat have no idea what kind of costs are attached to all of the ideas that groups such as HSUS come up with.

 

 

Listened to a speaker talk about sow housing last night.     He pointed out an interesting item, according to him when Denmark banned gestation crates their country wide mortality for gestating sows increased 50%.  

 

Its odd that doing something in the name of "animal welfare**** " would result in more dead sows.    The fact is that sows fight, a lot.     The best way to keep them from fighting is to keep them away from each other.
