Buffalo IL | Welcome. No experience with the robotic milkers or even automatic drop offs. I believe it is just a math equation of labor cost and availabilty of labor. How do you check for mastitis with the robotics? Last experience I had with milking was college as there was always job openings at the dairy so I worked there my freshman year and moved to the beef farm the next 3 years. Lots of mastitis on that farm with too many different student milkers. We had so much discharge milk we hardly ever needed milk replacer. | |
