Where is Trimble support?? Nothing like Ag leader where they will not only talk to you but bend over backwards to get you running. Agtalk has always had very knowledgeable people and dealers who are more than willing to try to make their brand of product work, even if it wasn't sold by them. Its called going the extra mile.

Now, my dealer didn't sell this system so he hasn't been involved yet. This was sold thru a Case IH dealership who has little knowledge of other brands of tractors. Also they were closed over the weekend and since it was not an emergency I didn't figure we should bother them. Also its out of warranty so we are trying to prevent a service call being charged 80 bucks an hour just like their shop rate.

OK back to the topic. I'm unsure of why the FMX will show me actual and desired steering rates so I assume that means it is getting messages from the CAN system. Nothing has changed other than getting some unlocks and unhooking the CAN system to install a valve driver CAN wire for the Water Management. When looking in the CAT screen I found a can system diagnostics screen ( since it is a C series) and found a red X on the steering and the autoguide controllers. The tractor still steers normally manually. The Cat servuice man reflashed the tractor software and replaced a valve body on the hydraulic valve stack over winter and all this has happened since he has drove the tractor. We are still trying to figure out which problem it is that needs to be fixed.
