Dietrich, Idaho and Mountain Home, Idaho | From the experience I have had with using headland mode on the 500 and fmx is that the 500 is just plain horrible compared to the fmx. It is a breeze to switch between ab lines within a field on the fmx and the 500 is a huge headache. I don't use the 500 much anymore except as a receiver for my cruizer/smartsteer system. If I remember correctly all you have to do with the fmx for headlands is select headland mode, record, then set ab line somewhere in the headland, then stop recording the headland when you are done. After that you can select either the headland to guide on or the ab line. It seems very easy compared to the 500 and only takes a few seconds to switch. Good luck. |
