I like the 6 liter engine in the gm trucks. Not sure why Ford put a pissy 5.4 in their 3/4 and 1 ton trucks as standard. That engine has no balls whatsoever for that size of truck. Plus the early aluminum heads in the ford had problems with spark plugs. A local guy I know had one shoot out while driving and put a hole in his hood.
