Central Illinois | We have a service that comes to our business once a year to inspect our extinguishers. For the most part he just looks them over, turns them upside down and hits the bottom with a rubber mallet a few times. Every few years, 7 maybe, they have to be discharged, pressure tested, and refilled.
I wouldn't let them get too old, but inverting and hitting with a rubber mallet would help. | |
