I run the tubular set up and have never had a problem with them yet, going ong on 4 years. I run in some pretty heavy clay soils too. I have the keeton low profile firmers. They have the smaller "beaver tail" to prevent too much wet soil build up. They do work better than the regular keeton tail especially when the heavy soils are damp.
