Subject: RE: Deere, Case IH, what about New Holland and Gleaner??

East Central, Nebraska
"have been very very pleased with costs, lack of downtime and performance"

you have been pleased with the lack of performance? sorry had to point it out, thought it was funny.

My dad always had and still does have gleaner combines. I think they are simple to repair and less expensive. I always bring up one thing when the color wars start. Gleaner has 2 year warranties and others only have 1 year. So I often ask the opposing person why their combine manufacturer does not have the faith in their machines that gleaner has in theirs. usually shuts some people up. I myself run a john deere.

I have a new holland disc mower and will most likely never have anything diffrent. Just bought a 2006 TM155 tractor with 2500 hours and it is a P.O.S. but if I wouldn't have bought that I would have bought a caseih mxm 155 which I am told is the same tractor. So that brings up another question. if Case and new holland are selling the same equiptment, why does caseih seem more popular. I would agree with the person that said dealer networking.
