w/c Illinois | They say that the bubble blades compact, and "they" are never wrong.* I had them for years, and never liked them. They might work on your soils, but if you and others in your area use 13 wave, why try to fix it if it ain't broke? Many are moving away from coulters altogether, claiming to get a better seed trench. If you have residue movers, you might try it. If you don't, coulters make sense, as you have them in place. Just run them well above the depth of the double disc openers. | |
