Eastern Kansas | One thing you might think about using is the slurry from a boring machine. If you have any construction work going on in the area where they have to bore under roads or creeks they'll use bentonite in their slurry to lube up the bore hole. That slurry gets dumped in a pit next to the boring machine. Company I've seen do it uses a vac truck and hauls the slurry off and buries it, they said it's the absolute best thing ever for a leaking pond. Just dump it in where you think the leak is and I guess it just plugs it right off.
The catch is I don't think all boring jobs use a slurry like that. If it's a short run, or small pipe, I don't think they have to use a slurry. It might just only be through bedrock. I can't remember. Anyway, something that might be an option for you. | |
