| My wife painted one wall in this color as the "accent" wall and balanced the other three walls with an earthy tone. She gets tons of compliments on the burnt orange wall but it is not overpowering the room. We like it, and if we grow tired of it, we'll repaint it. I don't understand why a wife can't change the colour of a room if she wants to! It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission sometimes in some households I would imagine and like Buster50 says "If momma ain't happy, nobody is happy!"
