| I saw a 1790 that had a different cylinder mounted on the drawbar hitch, (was painted yellow and was a bolted type cylinder rather than the factory green/black welded ones, don't know if something happened to the orginal but it appeared much longer and thus you could extend the hitch into a much straighter position, thus raising the units at least a little don't know if it was why they did it or not but would be something you could check into.
