On one of my trips I gassed up at a card-trol pump island in MN. Card-trol was the only option offered. No attendants or cashiers at all. There was no C-store, gas station or anything. I'd never seen anything like that before.
We have the cardtrol pumps only, nothing else at the site, in a couple small towns in my area where the traffic would not support a manned station. They are a branch of another station in a nearby larger town.
Also my nearest blender pumps are at a Cenex station that shut down the C store and servivce station. The pumps still operate as cardtrol only with the tickets listing it as being operated by the Cenex station in another town 20 miles away. |
