Will it shift manually? Mine started acting up and starting out in 2nd gear. Then wouldn't shift. I replaced the pressure sensor and shift selonoid in the valve body and it was good another 2 years.
This is on a diesel with 47re but same should apply.
Only reason I rebuilt mine was because I added more power than stock could hold...
