Yes!  I love orange as a paint color!  Go for it!  Be careful though--as much as you might love orange as I do, it can be too "hot" on the eyes if used on too many surfaces.  If you think I have a point, my suggestion would be to 1) either use it just on the backsplash and small wall areas, 2)  go lighter, like the Apricot Nectar color from Glidden I used on an accent wall in my Wisconsin kitchen (I can tell you from looking at a link online that the color is much more orangey but light & bright than it appears on the screen--and you can get an 8 oz tester of this color), or 3) balance it with either earth tones or cooler colors like green, blue, or grey, cream or even white so the eye has a resting place in the room.
