. | Maybe buy one of those pint "sample" cans. That way you don't have so much invested and get a big enough area covered to get an idea if you really like it or not. I had in my head a "dusty rose" color for my living room once, but on the walls it was more hot pink. I hated it, but with all the wood trim in the room I wasn't enthused about repainting. Stuck it out about 6 years, but still cringe when I see photos of the room then | |
