Looks to me like july 08 corn chart is forming a triangle. Direction of break-out many times indicates market direction. Did a speach in college on I think it was the july 1980 bean chart but it could have been 83; anyway the chart formed a triangle and broke-out to the top. The triangle was at the 50% of the eventual move.
