I keep my skid loader, 955 tractor, and most anything else that enters the Turkey barns very clean for bio security purposes. I have a drain in one end of the shop, but I've never used it for washing equipment. I just grin and bear it and wash them outside. We can't select the weather when it's time to wash the barns down...could be below zero, could be over 100 so I guess you just kind of get used to working out in any kind of weather conditions when you have livestock.

Don't really see it as a big deal either way. I suppose if I was a crop only farmer way up north I might want a wash bay.
