sw MN | RUN AWAY! A couple years ago I was looking for a JD 3 row Green silage head. They had 1 listed. I called there 3 different times before going to look at it and I talked to 2 different guys. Each time I asked Is the head green? Everytime I was told it was. I told them I only wanted a green head. I told them I would be driving 325 miles 1 way. I got to the dealership (I mean junk yard) and the head had fresh green paint over the top of the old yellow paint. I was so mad, I didn't even open my mouth. I got back in the truck and drove all the way home with nothing on the trailer. Salvage yards are cleaner than that place. Your lucky you didn't bid. That is the last place on earth I would buy anything.
