I can tell you from my experience that the CPAP machine was the best money I've spent. I haven't slept that soundly in years. My wife loves it because I don't snore anymore. As far as the tonsil thing and the ear tubes they still do those. My daughter had her tonsils out at 23 years old and my granddaughter just got tubes put in her ears.
