Farmington IL | "I had rather be on my farm than be emperor of the world"
George Washington
Nothing will bring you closer to what this life is really about than to plant a crop and watch it struggle and grow. Nothing will take your breath away like watching a young calf take its first few breaths. We are reminded daily how fragile it all can be, the shock of a sudden summer storm or the pain of watching a new calf die in your arms. This life we have chosen has tremendous rewards and tremendous burdens. This is the only way of life I know. I would rather be on my farm than emperor of the world too. | |
