We've been using Chevron for 30 years no problems.  Our  Chevron dealer had been recommending an oil that was the same rating as the plus 50, but this year he had an oil that was rated better for extended use.  They run it in all their delivery trucks and love it.  Sorry, but I can't remember the savings over Deere, but I think it was + or - 20% savings.
