Like most folks here in northern Oklahoma and southern Kansas, old crop prices don't mean a heck of a lot at this point in time, as we barely harvested enough to replant for this fall, hence; have none to market. We are mostly concerned with new crop. I began to contract a few bushel earlier, then it spiked up, and of course I missed the spike. But, also felt the techies were just playing and it might come back. The gap is closing between old crop and new crop and we all felt like the gap close would bring new closer to old price. They seem to both be going south. What do your sources say is a good strategy for pricing new crop, act now or have patience?
