| MLV is fine in open cows, and in calves nursing open cows. There is no fetus to abort.
Should be OK using MLV in pregnant cows if they have been vaccinated with the KV within the past year. But do check with your vet to be sure. If in any doubt, use KV.
The main thing to remember is to not give MLV to a non-vaccinated pregnant cow or to a calf nursing a non-vaccinated pregnant cow. Killed vaccines are OK at any time. | |
