I have asked my dealer this several times. The explanation he gives is that GM doesn't think the 6.2 would hold up in an everday hard working/towing/pulling situation. I'm going to get this wrong, but something about the engine being an aluminum block? I can't find the 6.2 offered in the '12 3/4 ton denali either. But I could of swore it was offered in that pickup in '11. Have to do a little more research.
Anyone familiar with the newer Chev pickups having the 6.2 gas?
