Heil Harvesting, Ulysses KS/Limon CO | There are lots of things that come in to play at sales. If it was not stated that the auction company could not bid or that the sale was absolute, if the auctioneer wants to bid first at 20 he has the right to do so.
It is my guess that it was a reserve auction and reserve was 20 and that the auctioneer wanted to sell the truck/knew its value.
The bottom line, either you are willing to pay for an item or you are not. As long as they don't lie to you in the terms of the sale the auctioneer did nothing wrong, he was willing to pay 20 and bid 20. |
