North West IA/western AZ | Dave, if you have dated your intended for 2+ years, the parents should have gotten used to you by now. If it's less than 2 years maybe you should slow down. You will have to live with these inlaws the rest of your life so it will pay big dividens to get things laid out right before the wedding. I married an oldest daughter too and know some of what you may be going through. If you at a great distance from her parents it will be harder. Good luck to you. | |
