Kingston, Iowa | Can you buy a 3g model without an activation for the Cell plan? I was planning on getting a wifi only for use with Precision's Field View. Verison or AT&T Service is not great in this area and I already have a US Cellular Modem in the cab with me for CORS. I was planing on creating a hotspot on that machine and sharing with the Ipad, but if I can't have GPS available out of the cab when scouting that takes away alot of the value I saw in Field View in the first place.
