Alton, Ia | Put pigs in 7/20, so far no major problems. Had a little issue at first, when they glued the water lines together, too much glue, some of it came loose and caused a few diapraghm valves to overflow. Once the pipe was flushed out well, no problems. Had a few issues with gate latches, the builder is supposed to come when the barn is emptied and correct.
Other than that, everything is working well. Feeders, ventilation system, etc. So good we started digging the pit for # 2 last Tuesday :) Pretty much identical, except we are going with solid sides vs. the drop curtains. Will require an automatic generator, but we hope to save enough on LP over the years to make it worthwhile. | |
