| OK , it's pretty common knowledge that I DISLIKE? the viper pro , but today we decided to try it on a SIMPLE operation , single product dry spinner application.
You have to enter a "drag chain" constant # for the drag chain speed , no problem , but you really need 4 minimum , 1 for straight Urea , 1 for a Urea blend , 1 for Nitrate , 1 for Nitrate blend & 1 for Dap-potash only blend. But the raven won't save these #'s under a product name , you have to write them down , keep it in the cab , and enter it EVERY time you change products , either that or change the end gate each time , I haven't had to do that since maybe 1990, This is supposed to be top of the line ? ? ?
I'm not a swearing man but working with this thing would make the Pope swear . The more I use it the WORSE it gets.
Raven EXPERTS , PLEASE tell me there's a way around this. I would LOVE to switch but it's worth less than half what it cost new , in LESS than a year.
