East central Iowa | You are getting the right information. Go with the 1480. I traded a 750 for an '81 1480 in '96. Used it for 10 years before I had the dealer put it through his shop. Spent only $3600 on it then and it was good to go. I couldn't believe the difference between the MF and the IH. So much less trouble and repairs. I really hated to see it go last year when we got a 1688 but it turned out fine. One of the major advantages of the 1480 is no straw walkers.
Is the 1480 a good switch for the 860? You'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner. | |
