Goff Kansas | basis will have to improve, with carryout only at 220 mil or so (??) but the trick is when?? personally i think beans will have to go up to ensure acres, so most farmers will prob sell during this battle for acres. after that though, prob april, may, is when you will see a significant appreciation.. with this lower dollar, exports will prob bump a little to, sell the carry on the board, store and wait for the basis appreciation.. bet the two together will net ya at least 60cents to a 1$. sorry just reread your post, so forget selling the board,, but i think waiting post harvest will def be a better deal.. | |
