North Central Iowa | The poor land will yield 145 corn, 40 tops beans. The better piece will run 180 -200 corn and 50 - 60 beans. The good piece has a ditch and the poor piece has many gully/water ways with sand on the back end. I did custom work across from the poor piece and lets just say it is challenging ground to farm. It will be interesting to see what it brings. There is rent in the neighborhood that breaks the $400 acre mark and a lot in the $300 range. | |
