not growing it here will not work long term but go ahead and try it if you think it will make a differance.

If you are paying going rate for land cost you almost have no choice but to raise corn look at wheat on cash flow chart and beans also not much skin left on the bone.

The US is the residuale producer of wheat in the world, we are the high cost producer of wheat in the world, and we have priced corn to be a secondary feed to wheat in very much of the world.

In the end we can cut production all we want at these price levels the world will fill the gap.

It may take a year are two but they will produce below the levels that we feel is fair for our risk.

and at some point they will force us to take risk of the table or raise the subside to the farmer yet again
