Yes. Pull a plate out and some seed and see how they fit in the cells. If any are too big for that cell you might want to use the next larger plate but check the smallest seeds to make sure two won't fit in the cell or you will have some doubles. If the seed is a little large for the plastic disc you could get some grinding of the seed. If you have a heavy seed treatment on the seed you will need the space for the seed to flow through the planter. You match the size of the seed to the disc not just the shape of the round or flat seeds. Medium rounds flow through mine just fine.
