something like...most cases it gets back to; how hardened off was the wheat before the extreme cold temp, how healthy was the crown root, and how cold did the soil get at crown root level & how much moisture was there

sounds like they've got at least one strike? if a guy is really nervous you could always dig a few up plants up and see if they come to life in warmer temps

desiccation is more of a problem for us vs out right winter kill
