NC KS | I have been out of the loop for a few months now but the Cat software was needed on the tracked tractors for engine and transmission although the tractor monitor would report codes.
Wheeled tractors needed Agco software. Newest diagnostic computer was a Windows tablet that cost dealers a good chunk. I think they were trying to make it backwards compatabile by expensive cables and software.
The brand new tracked tractors with SISU power probably changed the diagnostic work to the newer Agco system. | |
