I've got ellington (i think that's the name) fans in my house. My brother (electrician) told me to take the old fan out of the old house and put it in one of the bedrooms because they have a lifetime warranty. The thing is at least 20 years old and runs like a top yet. I run mine on a dimmer switch too.
